George Miller on what lies Beyond Fury Road for Mad Max

George Miller says Charlize Theron won't be returning for Mad Max: Furiosa

You guys remember a little movie that came out in May 2015 called MAD MAX: FURY ROAD? Whoa! Okay, easy there! I was just kidding! I know many a true cincephile has Tom Hardy's "Max" and Charlize Theron's "Furiosa" ingrained (in chrome) within thier minds. The only thing that we can't seem to come to terms with is that fact that the film has yet to produce another sequel or at least a Furiosa spin-off. Well, to further fan the flames of the fans, director George Miller just dropped some words on where the series could potentially progress:

"I've often thought about it. There are two ways to go," Miller said of what comes after Furiosa frees the people of the Citadel from the rule of Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). "One is utopian, which is not an interesting story, really. I've somehow imagined that the first thing she would do in line with that, is go up and release the water… it wasn't withheld… A New Deal, politically." The director went on to say, "the usual story is that today's hero becomes tomorrow's tyrant. The hero is the agent of change. They basically relinquish self-interest in order for some common good. I think she's too smart to fall into that trap. She's already seen it with the Immortan Joe. I believe he went through the same process. He was probably a heroic character in his own time."

Okay, so there we have it! Now go MAKE something out of it! I'm glad that Miller is still discussing a desire to make more Max, but seriously, less talk and more action! What do you guys think? Will we ever got another Mad Max and/or Furiosa movie? Spray some chrome on your teeth (metaphorically) and blast your comments below!
