Get your first look at Disney World’s Star Wars Resort experience

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Have you ever wanted to stay in a hotel that's located in a galaxy far, far away? If that's the case, you're about to get very excited, because Disney Parks has unveiled a first look at their Star Wars-inspired hotel planned for the Walt Disney World Resort!

For the new luxury adventure, patrons of the hotel will "board a starship alive with characters and stories that unfold all around them during their voyage through the galaxy – and every window has a view of space!" The resort will also be integrated with Disney's forthcoming Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, with the aim of giving guests the complete Star Wars experience.

Upon entering the hotel, guests will be given the option to dress in Star Wars-inspired attire such as robes and light armor during their stay. For now, there is no word as to whether or not light sabers will be included in the package, though I wouldn't rule them out just yet. Also missing from the announcement is a confirmation as to if Disney plans to build a Mos Eisley-style Cantina in the hotel bar area. I mean, you'd kinda have to, right? Disney could host special musical guests there and everything! Let's keep our fingers crossed for some major attractions to be announced for the resort in the coming months.
