When Jacob (Asa Butterfield) discovers clues to a mystery that spans different worlds and times, he finds a magical place known as MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN. But the mystery and danger deepen as he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers… and their powerful enemies. I'm not familiar with the source material, but I know that fans are already saying that Tim Burton and Co. have changed a lot, judging from the trailer (of which you can see below). Despite that, I'm really hoping Burton delivers something unique, fun and a little scary with his latest. I think we can all agree that the man's recent work hasn't touched his early filmography, but PEREGRINE'S HOME shows a lot of promise. Then again, that could just be the Eva Green factor.
MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN will hit theaters on September 30, 2016.
