Dance with the first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

We know that Peter Quill aka Starlord (aka Chris Pratt) will unearth some secrets regarding his parentage in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, but it looks like the space pirate (of sorts) will also be his expanding his titular GUARDIANS. Director James Gunn dropped the first teaser trailer and poster for the film featuring the return of our original cast of characters, as well as two new editions to the gang in Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Gamora (Karen Gillan). Check it out!

There ya have it! The teaser is exactly that, but we still got some great-looking imagery featuring beloved characters from the first film, plus a trademark exchange with Drax (who's my favorite). It's hard to gauge a film off such a tiny glimpse, but from the the looks of things, VOL. 2 will have all the substance and style that made the first film so appealing. Here's hoping it has the story to boot! Although if I have to listen to Hooked On A Feeling one more time, I’ll probably explode. On the flip side, all of the bonus points are awarded to Marvel for throwing in that cute, little baby Groot. Seriously, how is that not going to be everyone's absolute favorite?
