Godzilla Intimidates in New Teaser

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Just in case your hype levels weren't already through the roof, allow this brand new footage from Warner Bros get you even more pumped for GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS.

His majesty won't be stomping through town until May 31st, but luckily, we've been blessed with a little sneak peek to tide us over until then. In the newly realeased teaser trailer, someone asks the question, "Hey, what's with the light show?" to which an experienced lab coat answers, "It's an intimidation display". Godzilla then races past the glass, terrifying everyone in the room, and a petrified Sam Coleman (Thomas Middleditch) shakily responds, "Consider us very intimidated".

From there, the metaphor of Pandora's Box is presented with a stern voiceover informing the audience that "there's no closing it now", and a bewildered and possibly injured Dr. Emma Russell (Vera Farmiga) somberly states through a rain drenched face "Long live the King". Clearly, this team is in over there heads, and I am here for it.

For those who have been living under a rock, here's the official synopsis for GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS:
