Grindhouse wrap-up

GRINDHOUSE, which opens this Friday just in time for some Easter/Passover fun, is shaping up to be just about the coolest thing fanboys have been treated to since...well, probably since 300. There's been an all-out marketing blitz for the flick (which reportedly cost over $75 million despite it's low-budget aesthetic) and it's easy to get lost in all the coverage and coolness. Heck, Tarantino doesn't always get out much so when he does it's always good to hear what he has to say. Below we've got a quick round-up of some of our coverage of the film as well as stuff from around the web you might find interesting.

First, I'd recommend checking out all our interviews with the GRINDHOUSE cast and crew. We've got a 1:1 with Rose McGowan, Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, Rosario Dawson, Sydney Tamiia Poitier and Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Josh Brolin and Marley Shelton. WHEW. On top of that you can read the official JoBlo.com review of GRINDHOUSE (no surprise here - we loved it), watch a boatload of clips from the movie, and then follow that up with a trip to our sister site, Movie Hotties, for an extensive gallery of pics from the film's premiere. Elsewhere on the web, our buds at Opie and Anthony got Tarantino on air the other day and you can listen to the interview in its entirety by clicking (PART 1 or PART 2. Finally, Rolling Stone got interviews with ALL the GRINDHOUSE directors including Eli Roth, Rob Zombie and Edgar Wright, all talking about their fake trailers in the film. Hopefully this will all tide you over until Friday when GRINDHOUSE finally arrives!
