Game of Thrones HBO

With the premiere of Game of Thrones' seventh season a little over a week away, the road towards the epic finale of the HBO series inches ever closer. It's a little bittersweet thinking about Game of Thrones coming to a close, but if they pull it off, we'll be in for some spectacular television. HBO has now released episode titles and descriptions for the first three episodes of the seventh season of Game of Thrones, which are typically cryptic and raise more questions than answers. If you've like to stay completely pure before the premiere, I suppose the following vague descriptions could be considered minor spoilers?

Episode #61: “Dragonstone” (July 16)
Jon (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North. Cersei (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) comes home.
Written for television by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Jeremy Podeswa.

Episode #62: “Stormborn” (July 23)
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) receives an unexpected visitor. Jon (Kit Harington) faces a revolt. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) plans the conquest of Westeros.
Written for television by Bryan Cogman; directed by Mark Mylod.

Episode #63: “The Queen’s Justice” (July 30)
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) holds court. Cersei (Lena Headey) returns a gift. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes.
Written for television by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Mark Mylod.

One question which the descriptions answer for us is that Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) will arrive home at Dragonstone in the very first episode. Which means that there there will thankfully be no episode-long arc of Daenerys and her armada sailing towards Westeros. What do you folks think of these descriptions? What gift does Cersei (Lena Headey) return? Who is revolting against Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in the North? Who is Daenerys' unexpected visitor? It's all maddening!

Game of Thrones will return to HBO on July 16th.
