Heard joins Express

Because I’m feeling particularly uncreative today, I’m going to go ahead and ask this obvious and lazy question. Have any of you heard of Amber Heard? Weak Ben, real weak.
She’s had roles in NORTH COUNTRY and ALPHA DOG and played the title character in something called ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE. She hasn’t done much else, but one look at her is enoughto see why all the boys did in fact, love her.

A lot more of us will be hearing more of Heard soon as the Hollywood Reporter is saying that she’s been cast alongside Seth Rogen and James Franco in the Rogen-written, Apatow-produced, and David Gordon Green-directed stoner comedy THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS. Heard will reportedly play Rogen’s anti-drug girlfriend in a story about two buddies who get on the wrong side of a drug gang. This is one of my most highly anticipated movies, because Gordon Green has made some highly personal and original work (UNDERTOW, GEORGE WASHINGTON), so it will be interesting to see how he handles someone else’s vision, which also happens to be a complete 180 from anything he’s done so far. Will he make it his own? Will it work? Is Amber Heard incredibly good looking? Probably, yes, and yup.
