While it's a shame that Guillermo del Toro is no longer attached to direct the JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK film, we still have his first picture since PACIFIC RIM hitting theaters this Halloween season. CRIMSON PEAK will follow an aspiring author who is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider…all while spending some time in a mansion that happens to be haunted. Check out some evocative pictures featuring the film's male leads, Charlie Hunnam and Tom Hiddleston.
Can Hiddleston make women quiver with a single look? Does Hunnam's head look far too large on this poster? I think we both know the answers to these questions, but in 3 months' time, we'll know how (and if) they tie into the film. There's been some pretty solid praise coming from respectable folk, so it looks like we have one horror flick that's sure to please come this October.
CRIMSON PEAK will open in theaters on October 16, 2015.
