In Bruges trailer

Many years ago I travelled to Bruges, a medieval town in Belgium, for a family vacation with my parents. My brother and I decided to split up from parents for a few hours, so they can head meander through the historic alleys and visit old churches, and so we could go to a record store and sneak peeks of Cindy Crawford bikini posters. When it was time to meet with them, my brother and obviously got lost, and had our parents frantically searching for us, scanning the canals to see if their sons butchered bodies were floating in them. My parents eventually found us, gave us our deserved scolding, and then we all sat down at a terrace in town square for a nice plate of steak & frites in a cream sauce.

I have fond memories of the place, but it looks nothing like the Bruges represented in the trailer for IN BRUGES, a new gangster movie starring Colin Farrell, Ralph Fiennes, and Brendan Gleeson. Now people, I know I’ve said this more than once on this site, but I’m going to say it again: this is one of the best f*cking trailers of the year, and the only reason I’m cussing is because this trailer is unrated, and there is a shitload of f-bombs and words that rhyme with the word shkunt. After watching this trailer, I have some advice to Colin Farrell: stop playing North American characters! You sound too damn cool when you talk like the Irishman you are. Stick to it.
