Interview: Robin Hood star Russell Crowe!

I’ve been a fan of Russell Crowe since I first saw him in a couple of little films. The first was PROOF, the second, ROMPER STOMPER. The dude was intense all the way back then. In fact, when I found that I was going to interview him for ROBIN HOOD I got a little nervous. But since I spent one interview with Ridley Scott and Russell chatted it up [Ed. note: look for that interview tomorrow], I began to lose the anxiety. After all, he is just a guy right? Well, you know what? Yeah, he was, and I mean that in a good way.

This Academy Award winning actor has done some wonderful films including GLADIATOR, A BEAUTIFUL MIND and LA CONFIDENTIAL (should I maybe add VIRTUOSITY, or am I the only one that dug that?). But I didn’t expect Russell to be so straight forward and downright amiable. The guy was really quite nice! I have to say that the Robin Hood junket was an absolute pleasure to attend.
