The screenwriters behind HORRIBLE BOSSES have just closed a deal on the sequel. John Francis Daley (Sam from “Freaks and Geeks”!) and Jonathan Goldstein are hot after the film became a surprise hit, and Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis will be returning. The studio is in talks to have director Seth Gordon return, as well.
The first film starred the trio as friends who decide to kill off each other’s bosses (Criss cross), played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrel and Kevin Spacey. No word on what the plot will be for the sequel just yet- could their job situations have not improved?
HORRIBLE BOSSES cost $35 million dollars (or half of that last godawful Adam Sandler flick) and grossed $117 million domestically, $209 worldwide, so this is really a no-brainer.
