Joe Wright's Hanna gets Eric Bana

According to THR's Heat Vision blog, the film "tells the story of a 14-year-old Eastern European girl saved from a CIA breeding camp and raised by her dad to be a cold-blooded killing machine. After finding peace with a French family, the girl is dragged back to her father’s world, and she must fight her way to a free life." As our own Paul Tassi pointed out back in November, this sounds a little like LEON and Hit-Girl, though knowing Joe Wright's predilections, probably a lot more earnest. It will, however, be interesting to see how the excellent Saoirse Ronan (THE LOVELY BONES, ATONEMENT) will play a cold-blooded f*cking assassin.
Expect HANNA to be released sometime in 2011.
