John Bernthal goes full-on Rambo in a new clip from Marvel’s The Punisher

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Of the many things you would never want to meet in a dark alley, Frank Castle is certainly one of them. Highly trained in the art of close-quarters combat, Castle is a force to be reckoned with be it on land, sea or air. Most of his victim's never hear him coming, and those that do never live long enough to shout a word of warning to their soon-to-be-slaughtered cohorts. Today, a new clip from Marvel's THE PUNISHER has been unleashed, and it's got Frank giving John Rambo a run for his money while dispatching highly-trained troops in a still forest setting. Bernthal even takes some time out from his one-man-massacre to warn those who are watching him that he's coming for them next. Let's hope that whoever's on the receiving end of that Go-Pro feed is wearing their brown pants, because holy shit!

Marvel's THE PUNISHER stars Jon Bernthal as the show's anguished antihero, with Ben Barnes as Bill Russo, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, Amber Tose Revah as Dinah Madani, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Daniel Webber as Lewis Walcott, Shohreh Aghdashloo as Farah Madani, and Paul Schulze as Rawlins, with Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio in a yet-to-be-revealed role. The show will revolve around Frank's quest to avenge his fallen loved ones, as the skull-shirted soldier finds himself tangled in a web of crime and violence the likes of which the Marvel universe has never seen before.

The release date for Marvel's THE PUNISHER has yet to be announced, though my gut is telling me that all will be revealed quite soon. Be sure to stay close for when the redacted start date of Marvel's next Netflix adventure is unleashed!
