Just like every other blockbuster out there today, BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN) will be receiving a series of reshoots, but it will do so with the action maestro behind the JOHN WICK franchise lending a hand.

THR has reported that Chad Stahelski has been brought in to oversee second-unit photography for the upcoming reshoots for BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN). As Stahelski's stunt-facility 87Eleven has already been working on the Warner Bros. film since day one, it's only natural that the JOHN WICK director would step in to help BIRDS OF PREY kick a little more ass. Before you start thinking that director Cathy Yan won't be involved in these reshoots, you should know that Chad Stahelski will merely be taking on an uncredited role in designing new action scenes for the movie and will be working closely alongside Yan.

Starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, and Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN) will find Harley Quinn, Huntress, and Black Canary teaming up to protect Cassandra Cain when she comes across a diamond belonging to Black Mask, a kingpin in Gotham City's criminal underworld.

BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN) is set for a February 7, 2020 release.
