Jon Favreau to play Jason Bateman’s boss in Identity Theft

These days Jon Favreau spends more time behind the camera than in front of it. His next project is the family flick, THE MAGIC KINGDOM. His next project in front of the camera will be Seth Gordon’s IDENTITY THEFT.

Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy and Amanda Peet are all already signed on to star.

Here are the details of the film: “Story revolves around a man (Bateman) whose life is upended when his identity is stolen by a woman (McCarthy). Sources tell Variety that Favreau will play Bateman’s boss.”

Gordon’s last was HORRIBLE BOSSES, which wasn’t as funny as I thought it would be. I look forward to this one since it has McCarthy in one of the lead roles.
