Kiersey Clemons says Iris West’s intro in Justice League is “f@cking sick”

JUSTICE LEAGUE won’t only see big heroes like Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) being introduced into the DCEU, but also smaller character like Jim Gordon (J.K. Simmons). Iris West is among that group, with Kiersey Clemons will be playing the love interest of Miller’s Flash, and if the actress is to be believed the character will be getting a pretty sweet intro in the superhero epic.

The actress sat down with Coming Soon recently, and she was asked if she was at all needed for the JUSTICE LEAGUE reshoots, being done under Joss Whedon. The actress confirmed she was not on set, as she finished filming with Zack Snyder, and that her intro scene is the bee's knees. She says it better:

Everyone’s asking me that. No, I finished all my stuff with Zack [Snyder], I wish him well and I have no idea what’s going on right now, but I’m sure whatever they’re doing is necessary. I know the parts that I did introducing Iris are f*cking sick. I can’t wait to see the movie. I’m so happy that I’ve been introduced to this genre because I didn’t really have any type of desire to be a part of any superhero world. And then I stepped on the set of “Justice League” and I was like, “Holy sh*t. All right!”

The actress was not able to speak to the filming date of FLASHPOINT, citing how in the meantime she will begin to focus on her own projects, which includes writing her own films. As of now, the script is being rewritten by KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD scribe Joby Harold. A director is also still being sought, with Robert Zemeckis among the top names under consideration.

Iris West isn’t exactly the Green Lantern, so I can’t imagine she will have some epic arrival that involves kicking all the ass, but perhaps her intro will be a small, funny bit with her and Barry Allen/The Flash. Stuff like that can easily make for standout moments, so maybe it is as awesome as she claims. If not she has a slew of fanboys to deal with, and they are a vocal, oily-skinned bunch with nothing but time on their hands.

JUSTICE LEAGUE arrives November 17.
