Larry David will return for a tenth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm

Cue theme music

Larry David is set to return for more awkwardly hilarious hi-jinks with a tenth season of the Golden Globe-winning comedy series CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming, says that production will begin next spring, and that additional details about the show will follow as they're confirmed.

“We are thrilled that Larry will be back with his uniquely acerbic wit and comedic sensibility,” said Bloys. To which Larry David himself added, "As I’ve said many times, when one has the opportunity to annoy someone, one should do so.”

Debuting on HBO in 2001, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM stars Seinfeld co-creator David as an over-the-top version of himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his fictionalized life. I've seen at least four to five seasons of the show, and boy is it ever an excruciating watch. With that said, I do enjoy David's particular brand of comedy, and I'm sure that fans are looking forward to following Larry into even more nailbiting situations for another season.

The ninth season brought back series veterans Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis, Bob Einstein, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen. Without a doubt, season ten will find Larry interacting with even more personalities as they make riotous cameo appearances.

The tenth season of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM does not have a release date as of this time.
