Lots of action and new footage in this first TV spot for Kenneth Branagh’s Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

The first television spot for JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT has been released by Paramount, and they squeezed a lot of footage into this 30-second spot. Seriously, if you blink once you're going to miss like three different glimpses of Chris Pine in action as the titular character. The film comes from director Kenneth Branagh (who also plays the movie's villain) and Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley and Colm Feore co-star.

"You think everybody is who they say they are?"

Plot:

In a story taking place prior to the original Jack Ryan stories, Ryan is a young stock broker working for a billionaire in Moscow before joining the CIA. When the billionaire he is advising frames him for a terrorist plot and kidnaps his wife, Ryan must race against time to clear his name, stop the plot, and save his wife.

JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT will be in theaters on January 17th, 2014.
