With a SPIDER-MAN reboot comes a new Spidey costume, and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada says he's seen the suit Tom Holland will be wearing in the solo film from director Jon Watts. IGN snagged an interview with Quesada at San Diego Comic-Con, and he told the site that he's thrilled with the design of the new costume.

It's awesome. I've seen a lot of design work that's been done on the costume. I think there are elements of it that are really going to blow people away where they are going to go 'Ah, that's Marvel doing Spider-Man.'

Quesada wouldn't say if the new suit will have web-shooters ("Things will be revealed as they are meant to be revealed.") but he did go on to say he's very happy that Sony is developing the movie with Marvel Studios.

It's Spider-Man. What's not exciting about that? I can't imagine there's a person on the planet Earth that can't relate to some aspect of Spider-Man or Peter Parker, and he is for all intents and purposes, he is Marvel's Mickey Mouse. He is the icon of so much of what we have was built upon, so to create that movie along with our Sony partners it's phenomenally exciting. I know Kevin Feige and his team have some great ideas. Some wonderful theories that we have all chimed in on.

How different do you think Tom Holland's costume will look compared to the ones worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in their big screen outings as the web-slinger?

SPIDER-MAN is set to open on July 28, 2017.
