Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB have unleashed a new trailer for the upcoming virtual reality experience titled AVENGERS: DAMAGE CONTROL. The new footage shows off more of Marvel's latest attempt to immerse fans in a larger-than-life VR adventure, while also teasing many of the characters you'll encounter while battling the forces of evil. In terms of gameplay, AVENGERS: DAMAGE CONTROL has players suiting up in Iron Man-like armor that's been enhanced by Wakandan technology. For the game, players must help Shuri defeat Ultron … a daunting task that's easier said than done.

Marvel and ILMxLAB teased the VR experience a week ago at New York City Comic-Con, by introducing a trailer that had Shuri explaining the details of a battle that will test their skills, fortitude, and heroism beyond measure. While traversing a series of chaotic locales, players will team-up with heroes the likes of War Machine, Wasp, Hulk, Spider-Man, Hulk, and many more as they work to defeat Ultron and his insidious plan for world domination.

“Shuri has recruited your team to test a powerful new prototype design combining Wakandan and Stark technologies,” notes the game's plot description. “When an enemy from the past seeks to steal the technology, you'll fight alongside some of your favorite Avengers like Doctor Strange, Wasp, Ant-Man and more to stop the attack before they unleash an oppressive new age upon the world.”

In order to get your hands on AVENGERS: DAMAGE CONTROL, you'll have to travel one of many The Void locations. If you're unfamiliar with The Void, it's an arcade-like chain that hosts a variety of immersive VR experiences unlike any other. While playing AVENGERS: DAMAGE CONTROL, The Void technicians will blast players with elements such as heat, cold and wind, as a way of making players feel like they're truly at the heart of the action. The Void arcades are located in cities all across the globe, and you can check here to see if there's one nearby.
