Megan Fox to star in Nick Cassavetes’ heist-thriller Stones

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

It's been announced that JENNIFER'S BODY and NEW GIRL alumna Megan Fox has joined the cast of STONES, an upcoming heist-thriller from ALPHA DOG helmer Nick Cassavetes. Moviehole exclusively broke the news earlier this morning, by saying that Fox will pair with Scott Eastwood (SUICIDE SQUAD, THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS) for the jewel heist action-adventure flick that finds Trevor Parkes (Eastwood), an assistant editor for a top publisher, finding a manuscript in prison that tells the true story behind a major unsolved diamond heist. Upon further investigation, Parkes and his girlfriend, Maggie (Fox), soon find themselves pawns in a criminal mastermind’s dangerous game.

Little else is known about STONES at this time, other than that Joe Rosenbaum and Louis Rosenberg penned the script. Additionally, the film was once titled THE MANUSCRIPT, which at one time had Morgan Freeman, Jamie Foxx, and Jean Reno secured for starring roles. Whether or not the cast for what is now called STONES will change has yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Fox has just wrapped her role as Soledad Paladin for the James Franco-directed ZEROVILLE, a dramatic comedy that centers on a young actor who arrives in Hollywood in 1969 during a transitional time in the Industry. Franco is also set to star, alongside Joey King, Will Ferrell, Seth ROgen, Dave Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Horatio Sans, Jackie Weaver, and Thomas Ian Nicholas, among others.
