It's been a little while since we've heard about Paul Feig's (THE HEAT, BRIDESMAIDS) latest, which looks to be a female send-up of James Bond, but now a trailer is here to garner some interest. Back in the day it was called SUSAN COOPER, although it looks like they ditched the lame 'First name, Last name' format in favor of just SPY. The story follows that of an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst (Melissa McCarthy) who happens to be the unsung hero behind the Agency's most dangerous missions. When her partner (Jude Law) falls off the grid, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.

About that NSFW unicorn:

All of the supporting actors here look pretty on-point, so whether or not SPY is your cup of tea depends on how much you dig Melissa McCarthy front-and-center. Now that I think about it, any movie I've seen her in, she's played a supporting role. I suppose the fact that I haven't seen a movie starring her either means I can't really talk smack, or that it means something all on its own. Regardless, she brings home the box-office dollars so it looks like whatever she's doing is working. Now, does anyone actually believe that she WONT have a place in Paul Feig's all-female GHOSTBUSTERS movie?

SPY, starring Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne and Jude Law, hits theaters on June 5.
