This year's Oscars are going to be legen (wait for it) dary! It's been announced HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and GONE GIRL star Neil Patrick Harris will host the 2015 Academy Awards. Although this will be the first time the actor will host the ceremony, he performed the opening number for 82nd Academy Awards. Harris has also hosted the Tony Awards four times (2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013), as well as the 2009 and 2013 Emmy Awards.

I thought Neil Patrick Harris did a fantastic job hosting the Tony and Emmy Awards, and I can't wait to see what he'll bring to this year's Oscars.
The 87th annual Academy Awards will air live on ABC on February 22, 2015.
