Netflix’s Selena: The Series sets December premiere, unveils new trailer

The biographical drama about Tejano music legend Selena Quintanilla, Selena: The Series, has landed a premiere date on Netflix and the streamer has also unveiled a new teaser trailer.

Selena: The Series will premiere on December 4, 2020, and the announcement was made today on Netflix’s Latinx social media arm Con Todo. You can check out their post on Twitter below which officially announced the release date:

The Netflix series stars Christian Serratos as Selena and the show is a coming-of-age story following Selena as her dreams come true and all the heart-wrenching and life-changing choices she and her family have to make as they navigate success, family, and music. The series also stars Julio Macias, Jesse Posey, Hunter Reese Peña, Carlos Alfredo, Jr., Juan Martinez, Daniela Estrada, Paul Rodriguez, Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira, Noemi Gonzalez, Seidy Lopez, and Madison Taylor Baez.
