New clip from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter features some vampire chopping on top of a train

A new clip for ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER has been dug up, featuring stars Benjamin Walker (Honest Abe) and Anthony Mackie (Will Johnson) hacking up some vampires on top of a moving train, which is probably not an ideal situation, but hey, that's what they had to deal with back then.

Tickets, please...

I'm really looking forward to this one.  It just seems like a good romp with an historical mash-up premise.  I really dig Timur Bekmambetov's style and he looks to be right at home with this.  The book was decent, but I always felt it would be better as a film. So far, it looks like I may be right.

With the recent announcement that the film earned itself an R-rating, we can hopefully count on some blood-splattering gore and having listened to the awesome score by Henry Jackman (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS), I can say my excito-meter has amped up a few notches for this one.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER starts choppin' necks on June 22, 2012.

Extra Tidbit: Do you think this film has a better chance at being hit since G.I. Joe: Retaliation took its name out of the running?
