New Crimson Peak images look inside Guillermo del Toro’s haunted house

Two weeks ago we shared the very first look at Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming gothic horror movie CRIMSON PEAK; it’s one the most anticipated movies this year as you may have read in our 2014 movie preview. Needless to say we were excited to see the shot of Jessica Chastain, and now we have an even closer look at the house that will take center stage in the film as well as her co-stars, Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska.  

Here is a slightly altered synopsis from Empire Magazine:

A young woman (Wasikowska) is swept off by her feet by a charismatic suitor (Hiddleston) and taken back to his ancestral home.  There she finds more than she bargained for, including a jealous sister (Chastain) and more than a few skeletons in the closet.

Guillermo del Toro’s return to horror is of course going to be something to talk about and these images are a testament to that, just look at that house! The house that is said to be breathing and bleeding sure does seem more convincing now. I can’t wait to see more of this, anything will do, show me the furnace room I don’t care!

CRIMSON PEAK opens in theaters and IMAX on October 16th 2015.
