New “escape” clip and seven character posters for J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness

Just in case you’ve forgotten that there’s a new STAR TREK movie coming out next month, the marketing folks at Paramount have a barrage of new reminders for you today, including a new clip from the film and seven more character posters. I’m starting to feel a little overwhelmed with all the STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS stuff coming down the pipe, whereas a year ago I was dying to see just a single image. It’s a classic “be careful what you wish for” scenario at work here, I’m sure of it.

The posters are cool enough, featuring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Karl Urban, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alice Eve, while the clip shows off a “tight” fit escape sequence from the film. All in all, everything looks great and Paramount can rest easy on at least my ticket being sold, but that’s obviously not enough. Time to clinch those folks on the fence.
