New poster for Dunkirk lends credence to the term “War is Hell”

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

From acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan (INTERSTELLAR, INCEPTION, THE DARK KNIGHT TRIOLOGY) comes DUNKIRK, a film wherein hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.

Filmed using a mixture of IMAX and 65mm, DUNKIRK stars Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles, Aneurin Barnard, James D’Arcy and Barry Keoghan, with Kenneth Branagh (MY WEEK WITH MARILYN), Cillian Murphy (INCEPTION, RED EYE), Mark Rylance (BRIDGE OF SPIES) and Tom Hardy (MAD MAX: FURY ROAD) in a film that promises to rattle your bones the atrocities of war and infiltrate your heart with hard-hitting displays of brotherhood.

Today, we've been given a brand-new poster for the film and would like to share it with here:

Produced by Chrisopher Nolan and Emma Thomas, and with Jake Meyers serving as the film's executive producer, DUNKIRK will open worldwide on July 21, 2017.
