New trailer and poster for Marvel’s Daredevil Season 3 lets the devil out

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The first hotly-anticipated trailer for Marvel's DAREDEVIL Season 3 has finally arrived, along with a Netflix premiere date of October 19 for the Man Without Fear's latest chapter of blood, secrecy and sacrifice. In the trailer, we come face to face with a Devil of Hell's Kitchen who seems to have lost his way while wandering in a darkness of his own design. When the new season arrives, Matt Murdock's faith will be tested, as he comes to find that only by wearing a mask can he truly find peace.

Joining Charlie Cox for the third season of Marvel's DAREDEVIL are co-stars Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll and Vincent D’Onofrio. When last we heard from the Man Without Fear, the events of Marvel's THE DEFENDERS had left Matt battered and broken, with a superfluity of nuns tending to his many wounds. It's to be suspected by fans that Season 3 will pull elements from Marvel's Born Again comic book arc, which was published in 1986, and sees Matt reconnecting with his mother, Maggie Murdock. In addition to rekindling his relationship with Mommy Dearest, Matt will have to keep a close eye on his nemesis, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), who we suspect learned of Matt's secret identity toward the close of Season 2. If that doesn't sound like enough, Daredevil will also have to contend with Bullseye this coming season, a homicidal marksman capable of weaponizing harmless objects and wielding them with deadly accuracy.

Along with the trailer comes a batch of new posters that play on the "darkness" of the new season. You can check them out for yourself below:
