New trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp showcases the crime-fighting duo

As to be expected, the first trailer for ANT-MAN AND THE WASP didn't give us a great idea as to the story of the superhero sequel, and only gave us a taste of the action that's both awesome and pint-sized. But now a new trailer is upon us, and if the first one was just a taste, this one is the whole damn meal. Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) are finally fighting side-by-side, and the result is a movie that looks way, way cooler and slicker than the first, but still has the sense of humor about it that made the first so enjoyable. There really are so many ways to incorporate size-shifting into action scenes.

We get a lot of new stuff here, including a ton of new action scenes, much more Giant-Man, a look at what Michael Pena and his crew are up to, and a better glimpse at Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and her abilities to phase through walls only to kick Rudd through them. The first movie was a great Marvel effort, even if it's not often a top 10 placement. This new movie looks to do just what a good sequel should do which is to give us more of the winning elements from the first and improve on the formula. By the end, you'll never look at a salt shaker the same way again.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP arrives July 6.
