One of the most buzzed about films of the year and a lock for next year’s best animated feature Oscar is Disney Pixar’s UP. The legendary animation house’s upcoming film is a comedy adventure about 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to South America. The carmudgeon unfortunately discovers all too late that an optimistic 9-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell has come along for the ride. The film’s plot alone as well as early footage is further proof that the dudes at Pixar are envelope-pushing, creative-as-all-hell bastards who are intent on making us smile. Damn them all. Check out new UP character one sheets below!
