New Wreck-It Ralph 2 teaser and poster reveal who really broke the internet

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

As Disney's PR department continues to pump quarters into the release of RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET: WRECK-IT RALPH 2, the House of Mouse has recently unveiled a new teaser for the upcoming animated sequel courtesy of a video and motion poster for the film.

Presented with a minimalist deisgn that would in no doubt make Marvel's ANT-MAN AND THE WASP team proud, the poster art finally solves the age-old mystery of who's responsible for breaking the internet. We'll give you three guesses to solve who it is, though you'll likely only need one.

Co-directed by both Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET: WRECK-IT RALPH 2 finds our hero, Ralph, leaving Litwak’s video arcade behind, by venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet—which may or may not survive his patented wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss (Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.”

At the time of its release, the original WRECK-IT RALPH scored a worldwide total of $471.2 million at the box office, directly contributing to an upswing in quality from Disney Animation, who for some time had been trying to escape Pixar's ever-present shadow. Now that some time has passed, and fans are eager to return to Ralph's nostalgic arcade-inspired world, it should be quite interesting to see just how much Disney's long-awaited sequel can level up past its predecessor.

RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET: WRECK-IT RALPH 2 will arrive in theaters on November 21st!
