It: Chapter Two, Pennywise, James Corden

After being incarcerated for 27 years and left to his lonesome thanks to the efforts of the Losers' Club kids, Pennywise the Dancing Clown is back, and this time, he's looking for love. That's right, the killer clown who adores children, knows how to cut a mean rug, and manages to be the only one who can make Vaudevillian fashion look good in modern times, is joining the cast of The Bachelorette.

On a recent episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, the host of the late night program presented a new sketch that finds Pennywise locked in a fierce competion with other male hopefuls as they compete for the bachelorette's affections. With a bright, red balloon in hand, Corden's Pennywise makes the scene with slick dance moves, an emotional reveal about his love for the taste of young children, and an appetite that no contestant is safe from … especially Tyler P.

The sketch touches on many of the The Bachelorette's hallmark moments, such as a talent competition, a bit of private time, and of course an intense rose-giving ceremony.

"The latest bachelorette's quest for love in the storied franchise has her choosing from a group of honorable men named Tyler and Pennywise, a clown with a troubled past and a big heart. Will the clown's talent, wit and charm overcome some of the qualities that might have him at a disadvantage?"

You can watch the full parody sketch below:

I think that perhaps my favorite part of this sketch is when Pennywise shows up to the Rose Ceremony with blood dripping from his lips. Clearly, the hell-born dancing clown has been snacking on Tyler P. and he's forgotten to wash up. Perhaps the most hilarious aspect of this scene is that the bachelorette, Ashley, appears oblivious to his nefarious actions. With a crimson red rose clutched in his white-gloved hand, Pennywise advances to the next round. I can only imagine what the killer clown has in store for his beloved, though I would imagine that it includes a trip to the local playground, where Pennywise will select the main course for the evening's romantic candle-lit dinner. Yum!
