Playtime is over in the new trailer and poster for Boarding School

Momentum Pictures released a trailer for BOARDING SCHOOL this afternoon, which paints a maddening picture as the students and faculty of a special school unravel and become hellbent on destroying one another. Directed and written by Boaz Yakin (REMEMBER THE TITANS, SAFE), the upcoming film tells the chilling tale of when a troubled 12-year-old Jacob Felsen (Luke Prael) is sent away to boarding school, he enters every kid's worst nightmare: A creepy old mansion, deserted except for six other teenage misfits and two menacing and mysterious teachers. As events become increasingly horrific, Jacob must conquer his fears to find the strength to survive. From what I can tell, the trailer has this movie looking like if THE ORPHANAGE held a knife to the throat of MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN.

Starring Will Patton, Samantha Mathis, Luke Prael, Sterling Jerins, Nadia Alexander, Tammy Blanchard, and Lucy Walters, BOARDING SCHOOL will look to ring the bell of horror fans when it arrives in theaters and On Demand come August 31st.
