Powerful performances drive this emotional trailer for James White

James White (Christopher Abbott) is a troubled twenty-something trying to stay afloat in a frenzied New York City. He retreats further into a self-destructive, hedonistic lifestyle, but as his mother (Cynthia Nixon) battles a serious illness, James is forced to take control of his life. As the pressure on him mounts, he must find new reserves of strength or risk imploding completely. Check out the first trailer for JAMES WHITE that features some great performances by everyone involved.

Despite the constant inserts reminding us that this is the "greatest film ever", the trailer for JAMES WHITE packs an emotional punch. When it comes to drama, there are some films that feature cinematography and performances that really lend itself to the genuinity (go with it) of the story, and that's the feel I got from this trailer. Chris Bumbray had a chance to check this one out at Sundance earlier this year, and if you read his review, it looks like this film will deliver on all fronts.

JAMES WHITE will open in theaters on November 13, 2015.
