Rogen frisks Faris

Anna Faris has signed on to co-star with Seth Rogen in the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy OBSERVE AND REPORT. In the film Rogen will play, Ronnie Barnhadt, a hapless mall security guard who gets into a turf war with local police. Ray Liotta has also joined the cast as Barnhardt’s cop nemesis. Faris, as you might expect being pretty hot and all, will play Rogen’s love interest, a mall worker he lusts after. OBSERVE AND REPORT was written and and will be directed by Jody Hill, director of the upcoming Danny McBride comedy THE FOOT FIST WAY. OBSERVE will likely have to do battle at the box-office with a competing “mall security guard” comedy, Kevin James’ PAUL BLART: MALL COP. Filming on OBSERVE recently began in Los Angeles. Rogen will begin filming on Judd Apatow’s next comedy with Adam Sandler after OBSERVE wraps and still has PINEAPPLE EXPRESS and ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO set for release later this year.
