Rossum as Death?

Emmy Rossum seems like she wants to get a head start on making amends for the inevitable shit storm of DRAGONBALL, by getting in on a Neil Gaiman flick. She tells MTV that she reads 'Black Orchid' and 'Death', and knows that Gaiman just might be working on adapting both of them for the screen.

MTV: Have you tried to reach out to him about being in either of those movies?
EMMY ROSSUM: No comment.

MTV: No comment? That sounds like a yes.
ER: I think whenever you talk out loud about things one way or another you jinx things. I’m a big believing in jinxing.

MTV: So, jinxing means that you are hoping?
ER: (laughing uneasily) I love Neil Gaiman. I think he’s a genius. Let’s leave it at that.

Punishment for something as epically bad as DRAGONBALL would have been death back in the day, so I think that it is a positive sign of the times that someone might be able to commit such travesty and then move on to bigger and better things. Alternatively, I hope James Wong and Justin Chatwin never work again. You might think it's because Rossum is cute, and those others guys aren't, and my friend you'd be absolutely one hundred percent correct.

Previously, Rachel McAdams expressed an interest in Black Orchid.
Extra Tidbit: I'm looking through IMDb right now and I see that Ben Ramsey, the writer of DRAGONBALL is writing LUKE CAGE. Tell me he didn't snag that gig off of the DRAGONBALL script. Tell me that shit didn't happen...
