Sam Raimi’s 50 States of Fright scares up short tales of terror

Sam Raimi's 50 States of Fright dropped a trailer today and the new Quibi series explores the terrifying urban legends made famous in various states.

The first season of 50 States of Fright will explore stories based on urban legends from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon and Washington. The series will dive deeper into the horrors that dwell beneath the very surface of our country. Following the mobile-video motif of Quibi, each episode will run ten minutes and can be viewed right on your smartphone. The series has quite the cast including Rachel Brosnahan, Travis Fimmel, Christina Ricci, Jacob Batalon, Ming-Na Wen, Taissa Farmiga, Asa Butterfield, John Marshall Jones, Ron Livingston, Victoria Justice, Karen Allen, Colin Ford, Alex Fitzalan, James Ransone, Emily Hampshire, Elizabeth Reaser, Rory Culkin, Warren Christie, Danay Garcia and William B. Davis.

Quibi, which is available for pre-order, is set to launch on April 6 and they're going all out to get you to go all in on their new service. The service, which is set to launch with over 50 shows of new content, is offering a 90-day free trial for those who sign-up at Quibi.com before April 30. Also, if you're an T-Mobile user with an unlimited plan, they're offering Quibi to you for free for a year beginning on April 6. After the 90 day trial or free year is up, the service will run for $4.99 month or $8.99 a month for the ad-free version. You can also get early access to 50 Days of Fright when you sign-up at Quibi.com by April 5.
