Second Freddy face

Freddy wants more face time, and we’re certainly seeing it.

Last week the realistic visage of Krueger threw many for a loop. The majority opinion was that it looked like a cheap mask. My personal favorites are, a’ 95 year olds nut sack’ and ‘Fire Marshall Bill’ as Dave Davis so lovingly joked.

I’m still trying to form an opinion on the Samuel Bayer re-imagining. Bayer has directed some amazing music videos: Blind Melon “No Rain”, The Cranberries “Zombie”, Smashing Pumpkins “Bullet with Butterfly Wings”, and of course the number one on every 90’s list, Nirvana “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. So will that direction make NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET more than just a reboot?
