The Hobbit Facebook page has released these seven new character posters for THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG, featuring Luke Evans as Bard, Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel, Lee Pace as Thranduil and Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield. Is it me or does McKellen look extra bad ass in his poster?
I know for some the release of THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG can't come soon enough, and I'm definitely more pumped for the new movie than I was for the first Hobbit adventure. With some great characters returning and a terrifying new one (Cumberbatch dragon!), THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG should be an excellent second film to Peter Jackson's new trilogy.
THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG begins its journey on December 13th, 2013.
