Sin City: A Dame To Kill For adds Jeremy Piven, Juno Temple, and Ray Liotta to the ever-growing cast

Like most of Robert Rodriguez‘s films, SIN CITY: A DAME TO DIE FOR is generating a massive amount of stars.  The first SIN CITY had an amazing array of actors involved and it doesn’t look like Rodriguez or co-director Frank Miller are going to let that tradition die.  Today, The Playlist learned of three more cast members joining the film; Jeremy Piven, Juno Temple, and Ray Liotta.  No word on which roles they’d be taking, but their involvement brings a lot of character, a necessity for a film like SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR.

Having read all the comics, I can say that having a diverse amount of talent that can embody the hard-edged, noirish banter and character traits of Frank Miller‘s characters is a must, and thus far the casting has not disappointed.  Piven, Temple, and Liotta join returning castmembers Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, and Jaimie King, along with new castmates Josh Brolin as Dwight (taking over for Clive Owen), Joseph Gordon Levitt as Johnny (a new character to the SC universe), Dennis Haysbert as Manute (taking over for the late Michael Clarke Duncan), and Jaimie Chung (SUCKERPUNCH) as Miho (taking over for Devon Aoki).

Currently filming, SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR is one of two sequels out this year from Rodriguez, who will see the release of MACHETE KILLS, out one month before the sequel to SIN CITY, which hits on October 4, 2013.
