Sleepless the Musical?

Is there any way to make SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE even more painful for men to have to sit through? I didn’t think so but I was wrong: a musical. After torturing me with its insanely repeat airings on Lifetime, SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE is making its way to Broadway with a new musical based on the hit 1989 film. 18 songs have already been written and the script is half-done. Shouldn’t the script be 100% done? I mean we have it right here in our Script Archives. Just print it out and sing in the songs in between certain lines. Joel Zwick (MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING) will direct the film, which is expected to begin rehearsals in May. Between this and “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark,” I think I’m going to have to steer clear of Broadway in 2010. Wait, I pretty much steer clear of Broadway anyway…
