Social media scandals populate the latest trailer for Men, Women & Children

Given the most recent rumblings of hacked iCloud accounts and breach of privacy, social paranoia is not too out of reach for most. Director Jason Reitman‘s (UP IN THE AIR, THANK YOU FOR SMOKING) latest narrows his focus in MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN to tell a story of individuals and how social media has changed the way we interact with each other. The first trailer offered up a nice tease with no spoken dialogue, however we now have a new one that gives us a little more scope into the story he’s trying to tell..

Having recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, Chris Bumbray’s own review of MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN paints a rather melodramatic picture of what’s to come in Jason Reitman‘s latest. That’s somewhat disappointing considering how self-aware he is of his flaws, especially with the more recent LABOR DAY. Regardless, Reitman is the kind of director that will always warrant a viewing from me.

MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN will be released on October 17, 2014.
