Spidey swings in a new suit in Far From Home set photos

Spider-Man/Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is rocking some seriously awesome new duds in the latest batch of FAR FROM HOME set photos, swapping out the famous red and blue to a sleek red and black. The movie is currently shooting in New York City and the photos find the character range from Spidey standing around looking generally badass to swinging MJ (Zendaya) to safety. How hard of a time do you think he had getting all of this gear through airport security?

You can take a look at the photos that have been making their way around Twitter over the weekend. There have been a lot of comparisons to the suit from the Superior Spider-Man run of comics, which saw the character donning a red and black costume.

Spider-Man’s suit hasn’t gone through the biggest makeover across the three iterations of the character. Maguire’s costume was the same in all the movies, while Garfield got a slight (and unappealing) switch up going from AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 1 to the sequel. Between the homemade suit, the Stark suit, the Iron Spider and now this one, Holland’s character has had different outfits for each outing, which is quite a bit, with each having their own distinct look. What I'm getting at is he has earned the prize as the most stylish Spider-Man yet.

Now, how he got the new suit may not be the biggest question that needs to be answered when it comes to the new Spider-Man movie, with that prize going to the whole being brought back to life after evaporating in INFINITY WAR angle. Perhaps it’s yet another upgrade given to Tony Stark, or maybe Parker had Treat Yo’ Self day after coming back to life. That may take a big toll, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he wanted to inject a bit of black into his duds. He is still in high school, so a goth phase is possible.
