Stan Shaw to be the sheriff who hunts the creature in Jeepers Creepers 3

Wow,this franchise certainly does bring back memories for me. I can still recall the day I saw the poster for the originally JEEPERS CREEPERS and was all like, "Oh, I've got to see that!" In all honestly, I thought the first two films were quite cool, and I wouldn't be entirely opposed to going another round with the Creeper so long as the trailer looks decent when it eventually hits.

Today, we're getting news that Stan Shaw has joined the cast of JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 as the sheriff who will hunt down the body-part-collecting creature. For those of you that don't know or remember the Creeper's modus operandi, this dude hunts for 23 days after laying dormant for 23 spring seasons for human body parts and organs to use as replacements for his own.

With Victor Salva set to direct, JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 will be financed by Myriad Pictures and will reunite the original creative team behind the first two films, including writer-director Victor Salva. actor Jonathan Breck who will reprise his role as the Creeper and Brandon Smith is set to return as Sergeant Davis Tubbs.

Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope, which produced the first two films, will co-produce along with Kirk Shaw and Surai Gohill’s Odyssey Media, and Stan Spry’s The Cartel. Coppola, Shaw and Spry will serve as producers and Myriad’s Kirk D’Amico will executive produce.

You can check out both JEEPERS CREEPERS and JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 on DVD and Blu-Ray today.
