Teasers for HBO’s Vinyl and Crackle’s The Art of More pump up the excess

We sure like watching cocky powerful jerks on TV don't we? Two new shows are on the horizon which seem to feature that very character type, both dealing with high stakes business and self-made men but taking place in two very different worlds. HBO's Vinyl is set in 1970's New York and follows Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), founder and president of American Century Records, as he tries to save both himself and his company during the dawn of punk, disco, and hip-hop. Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, and Juno Temple also star.

Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter, and Mick Jagger have all had a hand in the creation of Vinyl, which has dropped a new teaser on us. Check it out!

Meanwhile, at the hall of Crackle, Dennis Quaid stars in The Art of More, Crackle's first hour-long drama which delves into the glamorous and sometimes shady world of New York auction houses. Quaid plays Sam Brukner, a self-made billionaire art collector who finds himself courted by Graham Connor (Christian Cooke), a young man who leverages his way into Brukner's world by exploiting connections to antiquities smuggling rings he was exposed to as a soldier in Iraq. Kate Bosworth and Cary Elwes also star in The Art of More.

Crackle released their first teaser for the new series which certainly looks a fair bit more impressive than their previous productions; also, Dennis Quaid calls a girl "sparkly tits," so…there's that?

Vinyl will premiere on HBO sometime in 2016 while Crackle's The Art of More arrives on November 16, 2015. Mark your calenders folks!

Probably an unfair question but, which series looks more promising?
