The complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray collection will be dug up this fall!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The long-awaited Blu-ray release of the complete INDIANA JONES series will finally hit the format this fall. The official press release from Paramount says the series, “will be excavated in the fall of 2012 and will include all four of Indy’s thrilling adventures, using the highest possible high definition picture and audio presentation – along with a “best of” collection of documentaries, interviews, featurettes and a few new surprises.”

Good news for collectors and those of us who’d like to see Indy globe-trotting the world in high def.  Of course it will include everyone’s least favorite of the films (THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL), but the first three are there, so all is well in the home video world.  I don’t despise the fourth film, but I’d never defend it against the other three.  There’s just no contest.

INDIANA JONES is a staple of movie culture and deserves his rightful place in the Blu-ray format.  For everyone who’s wants to see Mola Ram rip out a heart or see Walter Donovan turn into a skeleton within seconds in 1080p, then your dream has come true.  I’m pretty stoked to see how these look.

Look for an official street date to land on the map shortly.
