Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Welly, welly, well! I do hope you're in the mood for a bit of the ultra-violence this Wednesday afternoon because Amazon Prime Video has finally unleashed an official teaser trailer for THE BOYS Season 2. If you can believe it, the show looks to be going in an even bloodier direction this time out, as the hunt for Billy Butcher and his crew gets underway.

The first three episodes of the new season will land on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, September 4, 2020, with new episodes being made available each Friday following, culminating in an epic season finale on October 9. When the new season smashes its way online, fans will discover that The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. He's going to have a time of it though, especially after his power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social-media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.

Also included as members of The Sever are Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), The Deep (Chace Crawford), and Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell). Recurring stars in season two include Claudia Doumit, Goran Visnijc, Malcolm Barrett, Colby Minifie, Shantel VanSanten, Cameron Crovetti, PJ Byrne, Laila Robbins and Giancarlo Esposito returning as Vought boss Stan Edgar, among others.

Holy cats! So much is going on in this new teaser! The footage begins with a small fleet of military vehicles rolling out in force on a "multi-state manhunt" for Billy Butcher and his crew who are on the lamb not only from Johnny Law but also from The Seven. You see, Butcher and The Boys had caused a lot of trouble for the Supes back in season one, and The Seven's leader, Homelander, is determined to get his revenge. A quick montage of violence follows shortly thereafter, which packs plenty of superpowers and head-smashing goodness into a tantalizing 2-minute tease. Bring it all the fuck on, I say!

THE BOYS Season 2 will drop its first three episodes on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, September 4, 2020.
