The gods are revealed in these character posters for Tarsem's Immortals

Before he puts the big red S on his chest as the new Man of Steel, Henry Cavill will take on the Olympian deities in IMMORTALS, from director Tarsem Singh (THE CELL, THE FALL). Now thanks to these character posters unveiled at Fandango, we have an idea of what those gods will look like: golden and occasionally spiky.

The synopsis: Years after the Titanomachy, the Titan Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) declares war on humanity. He searches for the Epirus Bow, a legendary weapon created by the war god Ares, which will allow him to free the rest of the Titans from Tartarus and take revenge on the Olympians who brought about their downfall. In accordance with ancient laws, the gods are unable to take a side in the war between Hyperion and humanity. It is left to a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill), chosen by Zeus (Luke Evans) and accompanied by the priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto) and a slave (Stephen Dorff), to protect his homeland and save the gods.

If you somehow didn't comprehend from the images below, the movie comes from the producers of 300 and gets released on November 11, 2011.

Extra Tidbit: The movie previously had working titles WAR OF THE GODS and DAWN OF WAR.
